“Youth Vaping in Australia: Policy, Trends, Contributing Factors, and Innovative Surveillance Strategies”,
który odbędzie się 19 grudnia w godz. 10.00–11.00 na platformie MS Teams.
Naszą prelegentką będzie Dr Carmen Lim (Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences, The University of Queensland, Australia).
Podczas spotkania nasz gość podzieli się swoją wiedzą i bogatym doświadczeniem w zakresie współczesnych badań dotyczących trendów oraz wpływu mediów społecznościowych na używanie substancji psychoaktywnych wśród młodzieży, a także opracowywania skutecznych strategii promujących zdrowie publiczne.
Wykład będzie prowadzony w języku angielskim.
Uprzejmie prosimy wszystkich studentów o dokonanie rejestracji na wydarzenie poprzez formularz Excel (link poniżej). Rejestracja jest obowiązkowa, ponieważ na jej podstawie będą Państwu wydawane certyfikaty uczestnictwa.

“Youth Vaping in Australia: Policy, Trends, Contributing Factors, and Innovative Surveillance Strategies”,
which will be held on the 19th of December from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the MS Teams platform.
We are pleased to welcome Dr Carmen Lim (Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences, The University of Queensland, Australia) as our guest speaker.
During the meeting, our guest will share her knowledge and extensive experience in contemporary research on trends and the influence of social media on the use of psychoactive substances among young people, as well as in developing effective strategies to promote public health.
The lecture will be conducted in English.

Participation in the lecture will be considered as justified absence from classes scheduled during this time.

Aktualnie jest prowadzony nabór na wyjazdy do Gruzji w ramach programu Erasmus+ w projekcie KA171 roku 2023. Są to wyjazdy dla nauczycieli akademickich w celu prowadzenia zajęć na dwóch uniwersytetach w Tbilisi do wyboru (są 3 wolne miejsca na STA). Wyjazd musi zostać zrealizowany do końca maja 2026 roku. Dokumenty wraz z proponowaną tematyką zajęć dla studentów należy przesyłać do Pani Aleksandry Karaś (aleksandra.karas@umed.lodz.pl).

As part of the Open Internationalization activities, on April 16, 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences will host a workshop titled „Digital Innovation for Vulnerable Populations: Opportunities and Challenges.”
The workshop is scheduled from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and will feature two lectures followed by a discussion section. Each lecture will last approximately 30 minutes, and the discussion will provide an opportunity to engage with the topics in depth.
